Este livro é uma estória fictícia, mas baseada em fatos e pessoas reais, cujos nomes foram trocados e também suas nacionalidades. Muitos fatos também tem como base o livro de Gurdieff “Encontros com Homens Notáveis” e no filme com o mesmo título, onde ele cita uma visita ao Mosteiro Sarmoung, no Hindu Kush e as danças sagradas, que ele aprendeu e difundiu na Europa, principalmente em Paris, antes de 1917, onde ele tinha um Instituto.
Muitos fatos aconteceram comigo mesma, mas eu modifiquei nomes e datas em alguns casos.
Os personagens são todos inspirados em pessoas reais, algumas que conheci pessoalmente, outras não.
Gisela, por exemplo, foi inspirada em duas senhoras. Uma alemã, que conheci em São Paulo, na década de 80 e que conheceu pessoalmente Gurdieff em Paris. Ela era idosa, astróloga e dava aulas de yoga. A outra era brasileira, radiestesista, uma pessoa sábia e muito querida.
Enfim, todos os meus “heróis”, como chamo o grupo de oito amigos, são pessoas com um dom, especiais em alguma forma, e com grande caráter !
Peço ao leitor que me desculpe alguns termos por demais científicos, afinal, trata-se de uma ficção científica, e não deixem de ler as notas de rodapé, pois irão ajudá-lo na compreensão da estória e, principalmente, do final.

This book is a fictional story, but based on facts and real people, whose names have been changed and also their nationality. Many facts is also based on the book Gurdieff "Meetings With Remarkable Men" and the movie with the same title, where he quotes a visit to the monastery Sarmoung in the Hindu Kush and the sacred dances, which he learned and disseminated in Europe mainly in Paris, before 1917, where he was an Institute.
Many things happened to myself, but I changed names and dates in some cases.
The characters are all inspired by real people, some I knew personally, others not.
Gisela, for example, was inspired by two ladies. A German woman, whom I met in Sao Paulo in the 80s and that she personally knew Gurdieff in Paris. She was elderly, astrologer and taught yoga. The other was Brazilian, famous dowser, wise person and very dear.
Anyway, all my "heroes" as I call the group of eight friends, are people with a special gift, in some way, and with great character!
I ask the reader to excuse me for some other scientific terms, after all, this is a fiction, and do not forget to read the footnotes because they will assist you in understanding the story and especially the end.
